Volunteers in Service (VIS) program is aimed at youth activation for social development. In the environment where Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is being highly valued around the world and while UNO is trying hard to get the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) implemented in letter and spirit, UCP had already set the trend since 2007. UCP is leading in promotion of volunteerism and has a state-of-the-art program that is being offered to other institutions as well.
VIS strives to promote volunteerism and social responsibility among youth in order to nurture Socially Responsible Citizens (SRCs). The major aim and objective is character building and personality grooming of our youth along with the vision to give back to the society in one way or another. VIS program teaches the youth the art of being selfless and serving others while finding solace in the smile that’s returned to them, the smile that’s the biggest award one can achieve in this world.
VIS department helps and facilitate the students of UCP in giving back to the society through the VIS program and to make an impact in the development of our homeland. For this purpose, VIS adds partner organizations that are Non-Profit, Non-Government, Civil Society Organizations like Shelter Homes, Hospitals, Rehab Centers, Orphanages, NGOs, NPOs both national and international like World Wildlife Fund (WWF), VSO International, Make a Wish Foundation etc.
