Expansion of VIS

    Home Expansion of VIS

UVIS has become a brand after a decade of service, testing and updating from time to time. Hence, it’s a time tested program that can be implemented in any kind of institution. UCP-VIS is ready to provide the module as well as support in implementation to any institution that’s interested.

After years of implementation and hours of service rendered by students of UCP as volunteers, honorable Chairman Mian Amer Mahmood approved the proposal to expand VIS as a brand. It was proposed that VIS be replicated initially over other two universities of the group and after successful replication, VIS will be implemented on Punjab Colleges and Allied Schools/EFA Schools as well as UVIS, a brand.

After the approval, VIS team visited, discussed and presented the implementation plan initially to president of Capital University of Science and Technology (CUST) Islamabad, Dr. Muhammad Mansoor Ahmad, who very eagerly committed to implement VIS at CUST as soon as possible. CUST-VIS started placement of volunteers from February 2017 after adding 25 organizations as partners. Thus the first step was completed successfully.

As the second step, VIS team visited Muhammad Ali Jinnah University (MAJU) Karachi in April 2017. The MAJU team was formed and MAJU is going to implement VIS as soon as they engage some partner organizations. The next step would be implementation on Punjab Colleges and Allied Schools/EFA Schools
